We are seeking a dependable and experienced Industrial Cook to join our food manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient cooking of large-scale food batches according to precise recipes and production schedules. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and consistency.
Prepare and cook food products in large batches following established formulas and procedures.
Monitor cooking temperatures, times, and ingredient measurements to ensure consistency and quality.
Operate kettles, mixers, steamers, and other industrial cooking equipment safely.
Perform pre-operational checks and ensure equipment is clean and ready for use.
Document production data, including batch records, temperatures, times, and any deviations.
Work closely with Quality Assurance and Production teams to meet product specifications.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety protocols, and sanitation procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Report equipment issues or safety concerns immediately to the supervisor.
High school diploma or GED required.
1–2 years of experience in industrial food cooking, commercial kitchens, or food manufacturing preferred.
Ability to read and follow detailed recipes, batch sheets, and production instructions.
Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a hot, fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime if needed.
